Claire received her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from California State University, Long Beach in 1992 and 1990 respectively. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and she holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Devoted to her community, she is a member of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and participates annually in the Huntington Beach Senior Saturday Health Fair as well as the Landmark Health Fair. She has also been a featured speaker for various community organizations.
